‘Piki’ means to climb, ascend, climb over, and get on in Māori. 

At Piki, we pursue energy and momentum from the development process through to production and release. Our creatives work together fostering a cross fertilisation of creativity in a structured and sustained way lead by Executive Producers, Taika Waititi and Carthew Neal.

We are committed to thought-provoking stories from underrepresented perspectives. We champion artistic collaborations that have a strong point of view, are entertaining, and have tonnes of heart.
